This is Me by kidliquorice This is Me by kidliquorice
Posed by a model who resembles me in some ways :XD:

She's better looking than I am, even with all her errors. Hands are all wrong, and I'm pretty sure the head is too big for the body.

Who says I can't draw backgrounds??

(Answer: me)

But I did one this time! Inspired by an exercise in How to Draw and Paint Fairyland, by Linda Ravenscroft. It's a good book! If I could only summon the energy to study it.

Anyway, yeah. People need to stop feeling sorry for me because I sit alone. And stop accusing me of sulking just cos I'm too tired/depressed/distressed to talk.

XD! Actually I thought the hands were pretty good! If you wanna see fail you should see the way "I" draw hands! XD!

But they are too small, and the lines are jerky and they look just... wrong.

Meh, your hands aren't bad!

XD! Well, thank you! ^^

But your hands aren't bad either. But...That's up to what the artist thinks I guess. XD

It's in my traditional art that my difficulty with hands shows up the most. For digitally inked art, it's a lot easier to correct :D

Oh yeah! I agree! Just for that reason I've become a digital artist!

I know! But the thing is, traditionally drawing is more comfortable. My netbook screen has really bad glare, and my desktop (not that I ever get a chance to go on there anymore) doesn't even have a space for my feet under the desk, so the end result is aches and pains and lots of eyestrain either way :(

I use my lightbox as a netbook platform these days :sprint:

I could barely talk when I was 3.
Nothing wrong with being who you are.

Lovely picture BTW. :)

Thank you very much! My nephew was also very slow talking, but now he can go on for an hour (literally, I mean it) about Hornby trains :D
